Welcome to our WatchDOGS program!
The Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) program is a great way for dads to be more involved at our school. Students love seeing their dads helping around the school and making it a safer place to learn.
“Our WatchDOGS program is one of the most effective parent volunteer programs I’ve seen in my 25 years as an educator. It helps improve our school’s safety, gives teachers extra help in the classroom, and helps dads grow closer to their kids. Sign up! You’re going to love it!”

I just wanted to extend you a heart-felt thanks for all your efforts with the WatchDOGS program at North Elementary. I had no idea how much it would impact the educational experience of my two children that attend that school.
Every time I visited the campus, my kids would walk me over to the Wall of Fame with the photos of the DADS and their children. They were so proud to have their photo there and they said they even waved at my photo every day on the way to the lunch. Thanks for letting me be there for them, even when I was traveling and out of town.
Also, thanks for the opportunity to serve in the various classrooms. I have a whole new appreciation for the teachers. I have no idea how they do what they do. It’s an experience every parent should have. I’m sure any nit-picking criticism would be quickly thrown out the window if parents were put in the teachers’ situation.
Thanks again for your efforts and support of the Watch DOGS program. I look forward to serving again next year and recruiting additional people to help out!

The Watchdogs program that has been implemented at North Elementary is a valuable component of male role model involvement in our schools. The time I spent in the school participating as a watchdog is irreplaceable. The glow that I saw in each child I encountered made it a benefit to them. The teachers are supported and education is delivered in a positive hero/role model system. This program is of significant value to the school and community.
